On Friday, Portland City Hall was the site of a passionate protest against the City of Portland rejoining the Joint Terrorism Task Force with the FBI. They called on City Council members to heed the call, and Randy answered. He took their 9 pages of signed petitions, and spoke to them about how to respectfully and thoughtfully convey their strong opinions about this issue to the voting members of the Council, and assured them that he will vote against full-involvement in the task force when the issue is up for a vote at City Council in coming weeks.
