The Portland Loo project is in full swing. The original Loo on NW Glisan between 5th and 6th Avenues will turn 2 years old this December. The second Loo at SW Naito Parkway at Taylor Street has been in business since August, while Loo #3 at SW Naito at Ash Street is slated for its grand opening in 3 short weeks on November 19th, which is also World Toilet Day!
The fourth Portland Loo is in the beginning stages of installation at Jamison Square Park in NW Portland. Jamison Square draws thousands of users each year, and the lack of public restroom facilities creates challenges for park users, as well as surrounding businesses who have to turn away non-customers from the park who need to use the restroom.
To address those challenges, a Loo will be installed at the corner of NW 11th Avenue and Johnson Street. You can keep up to date on Portland Loo news by "liking" the Portland Loo on Facebook. As we have done with each of the other Loos, the Loo at Jamison Square will include artwork on the entry door specific to its location.
