Portland City Council approved the Bureau of Development Services Information Technology Advancement Project last week, allowing BDS to move forward with the replacement of the outdated permitting system with a new, more efficient system that will allow online permitting. The two-year project also includes the digitalization of historical permit and property information, which will make the records accessible online for the first time.
