The Bicycle Transportation Alliance announced the winners of this year's Statewide Bike Commute Challenge last night, and we are proud to announce that our office took first place in our division! Commissioner Leonard's Office won in the category of Public Agency with 1-24 employees, with a 56.1% commute rate. Five of seven office members rode, with Stu Oishi and Anna DiBenedetto taking top participation honors for our office with a 90.5% commute rate each.
Commissioner Leonard set the tone on the first day of the challenge. Never underestimate the power of spandex. Congrats to all the riders across Oregon who made this year's challenge fun and successful, and thanks to the BTA for sponsoring the event. Let's keep it up!
