This morning Randy joined Major League Soccer (MLS) Commissioner Don Garber, Timbers owner/president Merritt Paulson, Commissioner Fish, Portland Timbers fans and construction crews to commemorate the official groundbreaking at PGE Park. The previously baseball-friendly stadium will be converted to a more soccer specific and MLS Commission approved stadium and will be ready for the 2011 season.
As a result of bringing MLS to Portland, hundreds of jobs have been created, like the construction crew workers you see pictured below.
