KGW posted an
unedited interview on their website where Randy gives a complete articulation of his view that the Aaron Campbell shooting could have been prevented by the implementation of basic communication protocols at emergency scenes. This problem was first exposed after the shooting death of Raymond Gwerder in 2005, and Police Chief Rosie Sizer assured Commissioner Leonard and the community that the bureau would learn from those mistakes. With the death of Aaron Campbell, it is clear that those assurances were not followed through with, and Randy believes that the Bureau leadership should be held accountable.
